History

WMUM-TV signed on January 1, 1968 on channel 15 as WDCO-TV. In 1990, the station changed its UHF frequency from channel 15 to channel 29, the only time a GPB station has swapped channels. In the summer of 2006, the station changed its call sign to WMUM-TV, named after Mercer University
