s. Additionally, they broadcast local newscast three times daily on weekdays, with a local farming news report being aired through the week at noon. Local programming includes breaking news, severe weather coverage, community news, political coverage, and other northwest Alabama happenings and events.

WJBB carries Haleyville High School varsity football in the fall. Also, WJBB carries Haleyville High School varsity boys and girls basketball live during the winter time. WJBB is an affiliate of the University of Alabama

(92.7) until his death in 2008. In 1986, Slatton was named ABA Broadcaster of the Year by the Alabama Broadcasters Association for his work with WJBB-AM/FM. Slatton's son Terry Slatton now manages the station.
