WHOG is a radio station broadcasting from studios located in Daytona Beach FL with a transmitter site located in Holly Hill, FL and a City of license in Ormond By The Sea, FL. WHOG was acquired in 1996 from Root Communications as radio station WTSN changing the call letters and format. WTSN was operating as a Westwood One 70's format station. Black Crow Media acquired the call letter WHOG from Hogan Broadcasting, Hobson City/Anniston, Alabama and changed format to Classic Rock. In late 2008, WHOG dropped the "Classic Rock" designation and started classifying itself as simply "Rock Radio". The station currently plays a mix of Classic Rock (Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Aerosmith etc. from the 70's and 80's), Classic Modern Rock (Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, Green Day etc. from the 90's) with selective songs from the 2000's (Nickleback, Creed, Red Hot Chili Pepper's etc.).
