The WCWA Television Championship was a secondary championship
that was used and defended in the World Class Wrestling Association
. Originally created in 1979 as the WCCW Television Championship, it was primarily defended on their weekly television show. The name of the title was changed, however, in late February 1986 as WCCW withdrew from the National Wrestling Alliance
and changed its name to the WCWA. After the final champion, Tony Atlas, left the company, the title was finally abandoned in April 1987.
