May 2008 - Chattanooga State Technical Community College begins process to sell 91.5 FM to Family Life Broadcasting Inc.

November 28, 2008 - The callsign for 91.5 FM is changed from WAWL to WJBP in preparation for the takeover by Family Life Broadcasting Inc.

December 10th, 2008 - Last day of The WAWL on air (now online only). At 5pm on December 10th 91.5FM went silent.

January 2nd, 2009 - Family Life Broadcasting Inc. starts broadcasting a Christian format on 91.5 FM as WJBP Family Life Radio.
