for a decade between 1986 and 1996 before moving to El Salvador
to play with C.D. Águila
. He became a Salvadoran citizen and was able to play with El Salvador
. After he retired, he became a manager of his old team C.D. Águila
.
In 2007, he was appointed the new manager of C.D. Chalatenango
. After an outstanding season Vićević resigned as manager due to personal reasons.
In 2011, Vićević was announced as the new coach of Alianza F.C.
