On 28 June 2010 the managing board of KK Partizan unanimously decided to promote him to head coach. In his first season as head coach he won Serbian Championship title, Radivoj Korać Cup and NLB League trophy.

He is also a head coach of junior national team of Serbia (under-18s) and has won the gold medal at the 2009 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship in France
