Marcum left, to be replaced by Rain Parade co-founder Matt Piucci, and over the next few years the band used various musicians, recruiting Rodd Inden (bass) and Carlo Nuccio (drums) by the time of their next release. The band re-emerged in 1994 with the album Soundmind, featuring guest appearances from Barbara Manning
and Chris Cacavas, which was followed in 1995 with Brightside. The band recorded a final album, Ships of Heaven in 1998, but this was not released.
After the band split up, Steven Roback embarked on a solo career. Nuccio joined Continental Drifter.

When Rain Parade abandoned attempts to finish their final album, Steven Roback, John Thoman and Mark Marcum formed a new band, Viva Saturn, and relocated to San Francisco. The band's self-titled mini-LPMini-LP
