Career
Maksimenko began his career with FC Daugava Riga and played his professional debut for his club in the 2009 season. In his first season he earned 9 games in the Virsliga for FC Daugava Riga and was loaned out to FC CSKA Moscow on 5 August 2009, where he was a member of the reserve squad.After his return to FC Daugava Riga on 15 March 2010 he joined Skonto FC
