Infrastructure

The college has a library, common computing centre, gym, sports stadiums, auditoriums, separated hostels for ladies and gentlemen, well-equipped labs etc.

Department of Computer Science and Engineering

The department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is one of the two departments that commenced with the institution. Dr. P S Janahan Lal was the head of the department then. The present head of the department is Dr. K N Ramachandran Nair. The department of CSE now offers under- and post-graduate courses. Total annual intake is 120 for the UG course and 18 for the PG course.

Department of Mechanical Engineering

The department was established in the year 2002. It has one of the best infrastructural facilities among the engineering colleges in Kerala. Fully equipped fluid mechanics, hydraulic machinery, and thermal engineering laboratories along with the state of art cad/cam lab adds to the repertoire of the department. The department has the most modern workshop facilities needed to carry out any fabrication and machining required by the students for experiment and project work. The department is guided by Dr. C N Paulose, the first principal of VJCET.
