Life

Wood was married to Harry for 62 years until he died aged 92. Her sisters Bertha and Marjorie lived to the ages of 106 and in the 90s, respectively. She drove a car until she was 80 years old, and has worked on the farm all of her life. She has one son named David who is either or years old.

She credits her longevity to eating toast and pickles.
