The Vilnius trolleybus system is the one of existing systems in Lithuania
. It operates in the capital city of Vilnius
, the operator company is Vilniaus troleibusai Ltd. The fleet consists of 321 trolleybuses, 259 of which are working on working-days, 130 - on saturdays, 126 - on sundays.

trolleybus network, opened on 3 November 1956. On October 1956, the Vilnius trolleybus office was created, the contact network of length of 7.8 kilometers and trolleybus depot were built. First seven trolleybuses MTB-82D entered the streets on November 3. The first route was Antakalnis

New Škoda
trolleybuses T14Tr were bought on years 1996 and 1997. Newer version of these trolleybuses 14TrM were bought on 1999.
In 2004 and 2006, new Solaris
Trollino 15AC low-floor trolleybuses were bought.
