Song History

Lana Del Rey's indie-pop hit is telling the story of a lover who treats her badly although she is very much in love with him and would do anything for him. Del Rey states that the inspiration came from past relationships. Also, she finds that it is a very emotional song to sing.

Del Rey edited the video for the song herself, assembled from video clips of skateboarders, cartoons, shots from old movies, and paparazzi footage of Paz de la Huerta
