Vicious Delicious has a somewhat different sound than that of other Infected Mushroom albums, pleasing some fans and alienating others. The track "Artillery" epitomizes this change in sound, being the only hip-hop track on the album, incorporating a somewhat nu metal

Limited Edition Copies

Along with the regular CD release, BNE is also releasing a Limited Edition version of Vicious Delicious that comes in a special transparent plastic sleeve. The plastic sleeve's only artwork is that of the human heart held in the hands of the girl on the front of the CD. When the CD is taken out of the sleeve one can see the chest and ribs of the small girl. The regular version of the album just displays the heart in the girl's hands. Both editions of the CD are 14.90 USD on BNE's site. Additionally the Australian release was a standard jewel case showing the girls ribs with a cardboard slipcase over the top showing the full album art with the heart on a plate.
