New school
A new building, intended to house all grades, is currently being built; construction began in 2008 progress on the new school can be followed by referring to the references listed below. Currently, there are two elementary buildings. Versailles Elementary School, and Versailles North Star Elementary School,each includes grades k-4 and the building principal is Mrs. Brenda Braun. There is one middle school, Versailles Middle School (grades 5-6); principal Mrs. Jeanne Osterfeld. According to the district Superintendent, Mr. David Vail, enrollment throughout the district has been steady for the past five years averaging about 1400 students per year, and the enrollment number is projected to increase slightly over the next three years.
