Verona Public Library

In 2006 Verona opened the doors to its newly constructed public library. The new Prairie School

-style facility has more than three times as much space as the previous library building and features a youth department, lobby, adult study room, local history room, large dividable meeting room, as well as smaller meeting rooms, a wireless computer lab, views of Badger Prairie Park, and a drive-up book drop. The land for the new building was negotiated as a trade with Dane County Parks for the installation of water pipes in the park. All of the outside bricks as well as some brickwork inside the facility were donated by Epic. The new Verona Public Library has been designed to meet the projected needs of the service area for the next 25 years.
