Verena von Strenge is a dancer and singer.

Verena's love for dance started at when she was very young. At the age of 5, she was taught classical dance by her grandmother who was a former ballerina. However, Verena had to give up her plans of being a professional dancer due to knee problems.

After three albums with Dune (Expedicion, Live! and Forever), Verena decided to leave Dune in 1997 to become a solo singer. In 1999, Verena rejoined Dune and in the end of 1999 the single Dark Side Of The Moon was released. But due to legal complications the following single Heaven and the album Reunion could not be released and Dune stopped their activity for an indefinite time.
