Ventspils University College Research Engineering Centre’s two departments are situated in VHTP– Computer Design Department and Applied Electronics Department.

The location of the Ventspils High Technology Park permits the enterprises to get, by the status of the free economic zone

VHTP also operates the Ventspils Business Incubator.
Business incubator was founded in 2006. Business incubator is situated in the 3rd block of Ventspils University College .

The main task of the business incubator is to create new companies which would become financially and economically independent after leaving incubator.
