The band strives to employ an array of intricacy, virtuosity and unique sounds in an attempt to set themselves apart from most other thrash bands.

Conceived in 2004 by front man/guitarist David DiSanto and lead guitarist Erik Nelson, Vektor quickly gained popularity amongst the Phoenix metal contingent for their unique mix of technical, speed thrash and progressive influences. Vektor created a wave of interest with their self released CD Demolition (2006) and their two track demo Hunger for Violence (2007). After four years of local and regional performances as the opening act for such national acts as Testament

The band and their label have announced that their next album, Outer Isolation, was to be released November 22, 2011 by Heavy Artillery Records. On the day of their release for Outer Isolation, Vektor streamed their full album online featured on their homepage to all of their fans.
