New bus station

Bus stops were moved from outlying roads (South Lambeth Road, Wandsworth Road, Vauxhall Bridge) to a central point at the Vauxhall Cross road junction to create an improved transport interchange. It has created a safer and more convenient for passengers as there would be fewer busier roads to cross between trains to buses.

The bus station was designed by Arup

.It incorporates two cantilvered arms that resemble ski slopes. These arms contain 167 solar panels that provide a third of the bus station's electricity.

). There have been issues with people taking photographs of the bus station as it may be viewed as a security risk. The SIS Building has been featured in James Bond
