Vani tripathi is the national secretary of the bhartiya janta party the main opposition party of india, an actor by profession she has been an activist bringing issues related to youth and women to the notice of various forums and has led several leadership programmes in India and abroad.
Her campaign and outreach programmes focused on encouraging women's participation in politics. As a celebrity campaigner of the bjp she has also managed campaigns for several candidates including women in various parts of India including cities like dehli,bombay,states of chattisgarh,uttaranchal,madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
Prior to joining the bjp she seriously worked on various projects related to environment protection and global sustainability.
Vani has been deeply involved in theatre, films and television and has worked in projects in both India and abroad.
a graduate in political science from the Delhi university she also went to drama school and did a course in acting under the guidance of the legendary theatre guru Mr.Ebrahim Alkazi.
She also was attached to journalism and broadcasting in India for a long time in India and wrote in several newspapers from time to time.
She has to her credit 50 odd plays as an actor including works of legends like Anton Chekov, Peter Shaffer, Arthur miller, Tenesee Williams and several Indian playwrights.
Vani also worked as an actor-teacher at the national school of drama's theatre in Education Company for few years situated in New Delhi.
