, in September, and is owned and produced by Vanfest Ltd. For 2011 Vanfest will be on the 9th, 10th & 11th September.

This festival is the largest of its kind in the world, and some typical activities include a competition to see who can create the best three course meal in their camper-van, a show 'n' shine competition, and musical entertainment. Participants usually camp in their van or set-up tent in the showgrounds. Camping is available for families,clubs, or others. The festival has been running for 14 years, with 2011 being the 15th. Simon Holloway is the co-ordinator, and Neil Pickett of SFX Productions is the Event Production Director. It takes a week to set up, using around 100 volunteers and over 40 event professionals.

As well as over 350 trade stands and all day entertainments, there are also six music venues on the site catering for all tastes: The Marquee hosting Diva Fever, Right Said Fred

There is a full fun fair, an Entertainment Zone with Poi, Circus Skills, Quads, model driving, bucking bronco and bouncy castles, Walkabout entertainers including Bob & Bob Jobbins, and much much more going on over the three days.
