Note that the Heavyweight Champs Of Rock 'N Roll Tour of the USA in 2002 was not a Van Halen tour. It was a co-headlining tour by the two former Van Halen vocalists David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar. The tour was notable for its Van Halen connection however, featuring numerous guest appearances by Van Halen's then-bassist Michael Anthony with Hagar on many dates on bass and backing vocals (and occasionally lead vocals), and one date where former Van Halen vocalist Gary Cherone joined the pair for a duet. Nor are Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony's tours as The Other Half (a play on them being "half" of the Van Halen line-up) where the two former members of the band would play Hagar-era Van Halen tunes togethere with a backing band.
