V. Ships was formed in 1984 and is the leading supplier of independent ship management and related marine services to the global shipping industry. It manages a fleet of over 1,000 vessels, pertaining to a crew of over 24,000.
V. Ships itself is split into V. Ships Ship Management (SMD – Ship Management Division), V. Ships Leisure and V. Manpower Services. All three of these divisions work in close connection with V. Ships Marine Services and V. Ships Capital, which provide related commercial, operational, technical and financial services. The chairman of V-Ships is David Hoare and the president is Roberto Giorgi.
