Objectives and Activities

The objectives of the United States Association of Former Members of Congress are (i) promoting public service, (ii) strengthening representative democracy and (iii) keeping members connected after service. The Association is a member of the Network of Overseas Former Legislators Assoications, with a view to promoting interchanges among former legislators. In addition, former members are active in the International Election Monitors Institute
