The average household size was 2.59 and the average family size was 3.06.
In the town the age distribution of the population shows 29.6% under the age of 18, 6.7% from 18 to 24, 26.7% from 25 to 44, 24.3% from 45 to 64, and 12.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 97.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.2 males.

Police
The Uniontown Police Department is a one-man police department in which the one officer works part time for the town. The part-time officer is a police officer in a nearby Idaho city. The one officer also serves as the town Police Chief. When the one officer is not available the Whitman County Sheriff's Office handles law enforcement duties in the town.External links
