Segments
- Kanako returns home after an evening with her fiance and sees a little girl standing outside. Before she's able to find out who the girl is she hears a strange rattling noise and when she looks up she's struck by something from above. After she wakes up she treats a wound on her head and talks to her friend Miyuki on the phone. After getting off the phone she hears a strange voice say "Your bath's ready." Her boyfriend calls warning her that his ex-wife just attacked him with a knife and he'll be right over. Suddenly she notices steam coming from the bathroom and when she turns off the water a woman wearing all red appears and walks toward her menacingly with a knife. She throws a statue at the woman's head causing her to collapse to the floor and bleed, but she hops back up and proceeds to chase Kanako around the apartment complex.
- Sekiguchi's boss asks him to take his sister Hagane out on a date. When he arrives he sees Hagane operating an empty sewing machine with a burlap sack covering the top half of her body. She goes to her room to change clothes but when she comes back out she's wearing a skirt, heels, and the burlap sack. Sekiguchi takes her out but she keeps running away from him aimlessly, first falling down off the side of the road and then into a nearby river. The next day he tries to avoid both his boss and Hagane but they refuse to stay away.
- Saeko returns to her childhood home with her son to take care of her elderly mother. However, her mother still resents her for divorcing her husband and breaking up her family. Her son Michio sees a momentary glimpse of a young boy outside which he recognizes as Saeko's long-thought dead brother Masahiko. He tries to tell her but she dismisses it. One day she goes out of a shed in the back yard and finds a small wooden chest. The contents of the chest bring back childhood memories and from then on she begins to act strangely toward her son.
