UNCROWNED is a modern rock band from Atlanta, GA. They formed in 2002 with guitarist Jack Andrad, singer Stephen Bazzell, and bass player Stuart Clark. After two years Scott Sellers joined the line up to complete the group. The name “UNCROWNED” was taken from a Charles Bukowski

UNCROWNED has had many successes over the past eight years such as winning the Cabo Wabo, Hard Rock Café, “A Shot at the Cabo Wabo” contest in 2004, and major regional airplay of their single “Devil in My Hand” released in 2007. Their song entitled “Remember Your Ghost,” released late 2007, remained in the top 20 of Sirius Octane for twenty two weeks. In the June 2007 issue of Spin Magazine, UNCROWNED was featured in the article, "The Art of Hustle".

Albums

In 2005 UNCROWNED released their debut album Simple Sick Device. Two singles were released from the album "Queen of New York" and "You Deny." "Queen of New York has been used in various MTV productions and a video was released for "You Deny." In 2007 their EP, Devils and Angels, was released. The album singles, "Devil in My Hand", "Believe in Goodbye", and "Remember Your Ghost" all gained radio success and a video was released for each track. "Remember Your Ghost" remained in the top 20 of Sirius Satellite's Octane station for 22 weeks in 2008.

They are currently finishing their new album, “Last Bit of Good in Evil,” set to be released on Bieler Bros. Records later this year.

Live and Touring

UNCROWNED has shared the stage with notable acts such as 30 Seconds to Mars, Hell Yeah, Halestorm, Flyleaf, Puddle of Mud, Drowning Pool, Staind, Theory of a Dead Man, Rev Theory, Dark New Day, Incubus, Hoobastank, No Doubt and many others. In 2006 they played Van’s Warped Tour, MOBfest, and the Atlantis Music Conference

. In 2007 UNCROWNED added South by South West (SXSW) to the list of music festivals, a nd in 2008 and 2009 UNCROWNED performed at Summerfest, in 2010 at the UpRoar fest in Atlanta.

Appearances

UNCROWNED has made live appearances on the television series “Blind Date” in May 2005. In 2007 they placed in the Top 10 CMJ and Dick Clark “American Music Awards” 10 Hottest Unsigned bands. They have also performed live on Fox Biloxi’s program “After Sunset.”
