whose goal is to change the notion that going to college is the only path to success. Dale advocates home schooling at the College level, and started a website, uncollege.org to help self-learners network, trade tips, and find jobs.

Concept

According to the UnCollege website, the movement is founded on three principles:



The UnCollege website says that college, while not itself bad, has issues such as that tuition is rising at twice the rate of inflation, that students do not learn, and high levels of debt incurred to finance college. It says that the value of a college education is that it proves a student has certain competencies, and the capacity to work with others. UnCollege advocates proving such competence in other ways.
