Ultadanga is perhaps one of the most crowded junctions in Kolkata. The place is located at the north-eastern fringe of the city at a close proximity to the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport Kolkata Airport and marks the limit of Kolkata District
. The area is very well-connected with the rest of the city and the suburbs by extremely convenient bus, auto, metro rail and train routes. Despite of having a heavy flow of traffic, Ultadanga can be quite easily reached from any and all parts of Kolkata.
Ultadanga houses one of Kolkata’s busiest railway stations, the Bidhan Nagar Road station, which remains packed with hurrying passengers throughout the day especially on weekdays. Auto and bus services are very frequent here.
