The College of Natural Resources (CNR) is one of 14 schools and colleges at the University of California, Berkeley

Topics of research in ESPM include climate-change related sciences, conservation biology, insect biology, and the human relationship to the environment. It offers four undergraduate programs: Molecular Environmental Biology, Forestry and Natural Resources, Conservation and Resource Studies, and Society and Environment.
Nutritional Sciences & Toxicology's faculty research the positive and negative effects of human consumption. The department offers bachelor's degrees in Physiology and Metabolism, Dietetics and Molecular Toxicology. It also offers a doctorate in Molecular and Biochemical Nutrition and Molecular Toxicology.
Plant and Microbial Biology

Agricultural and Resource Economics focuses on sustainable agriculture policy, developing nations' use and misuse of land, macro- and microeconomic consequences of trade freedoms, among other topics. The faculty is about thirty strong. ARE offers one undergraduate major, Environmental Economics and Policy.
