Song information

Turn Up the Beat was written by P. Reswick, S. Werfel and C. Lieberman and recorded in 1984 at Flagstaff Studios. The single was released the following year by Graffiti Records and distributed and manufactured by Polygram Records. Dreamer, the single's B-side, was written by G. Petherick and recorded at the same time. Both tracks were produced by Brian Cadd and engineered by Ern Rose.
