Nature and wildlife

The area associated with Tsumkwe exhibits notable vegetation and wildlife. Particularly within the Khaudom Game Reserve[Kaudwane in Tswana] can be seen lion, cheetah, hyena and other large mammals. The African Wild Dog has notable packs within the Tsumkwe area.
