and referee. He was a fighter on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Hughes vs. Team Serra
, who fought on Team Serra, as well as a referee on the Hawaiian Rumble on the Rock promotion. Madaloniz is a childhood friend of B.J. Penn and trains with fellow Hawaiian Kendall Grove
. In preparation for The Ultimate Finale 6 Mandaloniz returned to Hilo to train with B.J. Penn.

About 3 minutes into the fight, Silva threw what was deemed an illegal upkick that rendered Okami unconscious.
