It has been developed and patented by Robert Pfleger (Germany) and is sold under the brand name Sanctura in the US, Tropez OD in India,Trosec in Canada, Regurin and Flotros in the United Kingdom and Spasmex in Germany, Russia, Turkey, Argentina, Chile and Israel. The drug is used for the treatment of Overactive Bladder.

It is available in Egypt under the brand name Trospikan by Hikma pharma.
