History
- Inhabited in prehistoric times and the Gallo-Roman period.
- A glassworks of 1699 was the origin of the town.
- Village completely destroyed during the Thirty Years War.
- An important new glassworks founded in 1707.
- The church dates only from the early 20th century. Previously, Troisfontaines along with Hartzviller were part of the parish of Biberkirch where the church stood.
- 1999, Troisfontaines is hit by a storm. It destroyed a large part of the forests, especially the on the edge of Vallérysthal.
