Companhia de Transmissão de Energia Elétrica Paulista (CTEEP or simply Transmissão Paulista) (BM&F Bovespa: TRLP3, TRPL4) is a Brazil
ian company that operates, maintains, expands and operates transmission systems of electric power utilities of old, leading to new companies. It was created from the breakup of Companhia Energética de São Paulo in 1999. In November 2001, incorporates the Empresa Paulista de Transmissão de Energia Elétrica, derived from the breakup of Eletropaulo Metropolitana - Eletricidade Sao Paulo SA, resulting thus in a much larger company.
CTEEP is the main private concessionaire of the transmission of electrical energy, for transmission of 30% of all electricity produced in Brazil, which is almost 100% of the State of São Paulo.
With installed capacity of 43,069 MVA, is present in 12 Brazilian States - Rio Grande do Sul
