Tramways in Gdańsk have existed since 1873. They are operated by Zakład Komunikacji Miejskiej sp. z o.o w Gdańsku. There are 11 lines with a total length of 116,7 km. The tram system in Gdańsk uses the 1435 mm standard gauge.
