The team was the KIT League Champions for the 2008 season with an impressive .700 record in 50 games, finishing five games ahead of the Fulton Railroaders who had a record of 29-20 (.591).
In 2007, four players from the Pirates were selected for the KIT League
all-star team to play against the Central Illinois Collegiate League's
all-star team. Those players were: Matt Toffaletti, Logan Neal, Brandon Robinette, and Hunter Nolen.
