. The soundtrack to the ride, composed by Graham Smart, was and is still considered one of the most popular to be produced in the park. The ride's soundtrack, accompanied with the Haunted House soundtrack, was available to buy in the park on tape and CD.

The ride suffered from poor maintenance towards the end of its time at Alton Towers. The attraction received no attention in the 2004/2005 closed season, unlike the rest of the park and rumours began that it would be replaced. Early in the 2005 season it was announced that Toyland Tours would be closing, to make way for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory : The Ride in 2006.

Toyland Tours was built (and opened) on the same day as Nemesis was back in 1994. Its ride theme and soundtrack was very bouncy and up-going to keep everyone in that old rhythm.
