Two Teachers per Class Program

TCMPS has a special program called "Two Teachers per Class", in which each classroom literally gets two teachers, a head teacher and a co-teacher. The teacher teaches most of the school work while the co-teacher assists the head teacher in doing so. This is the main reason why TCMPS boasts of such a high teacher per student rate. Students in Grades One through Six, the Core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science, History and Geography are taught by their regular classroom teachers. Meanwhile, students in Grade Seven and Eight have a rotary teaching schedule. This is when specialist teachers in Math, Language, Science, History and Geography teach the students. Students in Grades One through Eight have specialist teachers for Computer Studies, Physical Education, French and Music/Band.
