. It is so called, as it is possible (on a clear day) to view helens tower from the area.

The majority of pupils live in the Towerview area of Bangor

 but some come from further afield. There is a total of 14 classrooms to accommodate the children from Primary One to Primary Seven. The school has a current teaching staff of 19 teachers, including the Nursery Unit teacher and 1 part-time Reading Support teacher.

The Principal is Mr AW Brown,the vice principal is Mr D Massey and the chairman of the Board of Governors is Mr RW English. The school's local education authority is the South Eastern Education and Library Board (SEELB)
