provider based out of San Francisco, from the years 1999 to 2005.

Totality was previously named "MimEcom", prior to the company going public in December of 2000.

Totality was a leading provider of application & infrastructure management (AIM) services for large-scale e-commerce sites requiring mass customization and round-the-clock management. Totality served Global 2000 e-businesses and fast growing Internet companies.

At the core of Totality's Application and Infrastructure Management Services with its integrated Service Automation Platform fast-tracked site deployment and provided managed services for automated, 24x7 IT operations. Accountable for a customer's internet-based application infrastructure, Totality's unique solution was an alternative to costly IT-Outsourcing or internally-managing mission-critical systems.

Totality brought unique value to its customer's through a business-process centric SLA: guaranteeing business outcomes. This holistic approach to transaction success tended to be more robust than what alternative sources could offer the Enterprise. Verizon continues to provide this service through its Remote Application Management Services.

The senior management team and founders included executives from EDS, Fort Point Partners, AOL/Netscape, IBM, Oracle and Sun Microsystems. The company operated the domain name, www.totality.com.

In late 2005 Totality was acquired by MCI

which in turn was accqired by Verizon. Verizon now operates Totality under its brandname.

In 2000 MimEcom was the recipient of what was at the time the second largest second round funding, $100 million, the first being its main competitor, Loudcloud.
