Total Star is the brand name of a radio station based in Cheltenham broadcasting in Gloucestershire
owned by Storm Radio Ltd. It is the licence holder for the Cheltenham and Tewkesbury licence issued by Ofcom. Total Star does not partake in the industry standard audience measuring surveys (Rajar) and its listening figures are therefore unknown.
The head office is based in Tewkesbury Road, Cheltenham and owned by Brett Orchard
, when the Bath licence came up for readvertisement, awarded it to Celador, operator of Bristol-based The Breeze 107.2, and the Bath service is expected to take the name The Breeze later in 2011. It is unclear at present what the arrangements for programming will be: currently the Bristol Breeze has local programmes at breakfast and drivetime, with programmes networked from The Breeze in Southampton outside these times.
More Radio Ltd have subsequently relaunched their three frequencies as More FM, and cease sharing programming with the Cheltenham-based service, which will continue to use the Total Star name under the ownership of Storm Radio.
