 in North Devon. The station was closed for regular passenger services in 1965 but special passenger trains and freight used the line until 1982. The station building has been converted to a pub.

Tarka Valley Railway

In July 2008, A railway preservation society called the (Tarka Valley Railway) has been formed to create a heritage railway by laying a short section of track adjacent to the platforms and displaying some rolling stock. However in later years to come the Tarka Valley Railway could extend to and include the Bideford & Instow Railway as part of the proposed tourist route.

There's even hope of reaching Barnstaple (interchanging with services on the Tarka Line
