Back to Norway

After the successful 2003 season, he moved back to Norway to play for Norwegian Premier Division side Vålerenga. His stay there was not a success, as he was only given the opportunity to play in 4 games, not scoring once. The following season he spent half the season in Norwegian Second Division, where he scored 4 goals in 12 games. During that stay, Mandalskameratene surprisingly beat Premier Division side Odd Grenland out of the Norwegian Cup
