Top Glove Corporation Berhad is a rubber glove manufacturer. The company owns and operates 21 factories with locations in Malaysia, Thailand, China and marketing offices in United States and Germany.

The company was founded in 1991 by Tan Sri Dato Sri Lim Wee-Chai. Since its inception in Malaysia in 1991, starting from one factory in 1991 with three production lines, Top Glove has embarked on an expansion plan to become the world's largest rubber glove manufacturer with the following facts :

2. Number of production lines: 395 lines as at Oct 2011

3. Total capacity per annum: 35.25 billion pcs as at Oct 2011

4. Countries of export: 185 countries

5. Number of employee: 10,900

6. Number of customers: 1,000

Top Glove was listed on the Bursa Saham Kuala Lumpur in year 2001 and in a span of slightly more than a year, Top Glove Corporation Berhad's listing has been promoted from the Second Board to the Main Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange on May 16, 2002. Top Glove now has a shareholder fund of RM1.12 billion or USD360.1 million. Its annual turnover stood at RM2.08 billion or USD682 million as at 31 August 2010.

Top Glove’s paid up capital stood at RM309.26 million as at Oct 25, 2011 while market capitalisation was RM2.54 billion.

Top Glove is also one of the component stocks of the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Mid 70 Index, 100 Index and Emas Index.

The company collaborates closely with Government agencies and Ministries to keep itself abreast of the latest development in rubber research technology.
