During the summer of 2006, Lowe shot pre-production footage for a feature film called The Plan for his former production company, Digital Lions. The Plan is about an ex-CIA officer who comes to view religion as the greatest threat to humanity.

new Untitled Feature Film. Lowe is the founder and proprietor of the largest timelapse community on the internet, Timescapes.org. He is currently shooting a 45-minute non-narrative film entitled TimeScapes in the Southwestern United States.
