on the mediterranean island of Cyprus
who went to the European Court of Human Rights (see Loizidou v. Turkey) for the right to enjoy the property and land that she owns in the Turkish-occupied northern part of Cyprus and which the government of Northern Cyprus has not allowed her to access since the Turkish invasion of Cyprus
in 1974.
