The term tightlacer is generally applied to someone who wears the corset for at least fourteen hours per day, but many tightlacers wear their corsets for as many as 23 hours every day. The common size of the waistline of tightlacers is 19–21 inches (48–52 cm), unless they are undergoing waist training to achieve such measurements.
